Diazepam, of course, has been marketed under a huge variety of brand names, and is one of the most commonly prescribed drugs in the world. On testing with a fairly hefty dose, I experienced what is probably the standard ride for a user with no tolerance: a strange dreamy euphoric-type headiness, which eventually settled into a more classic tranquillised sedation, which gradually faded. A dreamy comfort bubble, in which all worldly worries are dissipated, is another way of describing it. As with all drugs of this class, a word of caution is in order: benzodiazepines are highly addictive, so this isn’t one to play with, and certainly not on a regular basis.
